		<description>i agree that all of the cakes are artistic sucses; however, i wonder how they taste. a baker and cake decorator myself i know what makes a delicious cake and it&#039;s not fondant w/which all of these cakes, and it seems all trendy cakes anymore, are iced.  I&#039;ve always thought that the taste and texture of the icing was important, but the fondant (which i think tastes like sweet plastic) trend seems to indicate otherwise. any opinions from the baking or non-baking world? would you rather eat an expensive cake that tastes ok or an expensive cake that tastes fantastic but doesn&#039;t  look quite as good?</description>
