I always smile when I read something like this, “World’s Top 20 Web Designers” well design is relative, so no one can tell who is the best designer, not even the best 20. some people like this, some like that :}

While I agree that it is as subjective as the selection of the Oscar Awards, I believe that the honor is being chosen by those within your industry. Take a bow Larissa, it is well deserved. It seems that it was just yesterday that you were designing your independent websites (taking time to help beginners like myself and some worthy non-profit organizations), now you are a sought after speaker for international conventions. I am sure that you will continue to have opportunities to stretch your creative skills and be recognized for your efforts.

You can tell when people would rather raise themselves up by pulling you down than working harder/smarter to be better themselves.
