Nice wallpapers are hard to come by - especially holiday wallpapers. Not to mention all the annoying pop-ups from the wallpaper sites that pop up at the top of the search engines. Below is a list of some of the best holiday wallpapers I could find.
Crazy Snowman
Look close. The snow has a sparkle to it.
Pocket Clouds
Candy canes come in all colors and this desktop will surely cure the winter blahs. Found this one at Pixel Girl which has a nice variety of free wallpapers.
Lego Christmas
I love Legos, don’t you?
Snowflakes & Crystals
A little science on your desktop is cool in a few sizes 1024×768, 1152×864, 1280×1024, 1400×1050.
Cubie Christmas
Get Rudolph, the Grinch, caroler, Santa’s helper elf, Santa, Jack Skellington, Sally and the snowman in cube format.
Snowmen on Orange by Indeepop
These snowmen melt hearts.
Merry Sheepmas
All I can say is this one gets the cute award.
Silver Tree
Lovely iridescent quality
Christmas Chix
Just make your desktop color white and center the image.
Green 3D Tree
A little homemade crafty-ness.
Snow Blanketed Christmas
This night scape exudes a sense of tranquility with moonlight snow banks
Red and White more at Christmas Wallpaper
Red and white with simple, clean lines give your desktop a modern holiday feel.
NOEL New Year Wallpaper
Whimsical and minimalistic. This wallpaper captures winter beauty in illustrative form.
Snow Covered Trees
Untouched perfect first snow at night
Winter Wonderland
This is the winter wonderland of a dream. Great PhotoShop manipulation.
A Magic Christmas will add a little warm Christmas spirit to your desktop this Holiday Season.
Um… Ouch!

Oh my god, thanks Larissa. I was looking for some good holiday wallpapers. I’m a huge giggly mess about Christmas which I’ve found can be annoying so I try to keep my cheer to myself. These desktops may very well have made living with me easier for another month. Thanks!

I woke up this morning and thought, “it’s almost Christmas, I need to retheme my desktop.” And then your post came up in my RSS reader. You have impeccable timing. (Now, to find some Christmas-y icons…)

Thanks for the wonderful Christmas-y desktop selections! Hopefully they’ll make the snowless land they call “California” a little more festive.

Larissa, just thought I would let you know that on Sunday I was channel surfing and I found Average Joe with you. Your season was my favorite. It is on again tonight and you are down to the final 3.
Of course I know that you picked Gil. It is good to see that some of the Reality Show couples do stay together. I also think that you are an amazing talent. Wow. I bet your home is beautiful. Anyway take care.
Just wanted to let you know you have a fan in Canada.
